The Black Youth Summer Institute at Southern Oregon University is a free, week-long overnight camp that provides an immersive experience designed to build confidence and leadership skills for youth in the African diaspora. Campers will participate in a variety of workshops, classes, and cultural activities, all designed to empower and inspire. The camp fosters a sense of community and belonging, providing a unique opportunity for Black youth to connect with their peers and explore their identity in a supportive university environment.
