Act Up: Writing, Theater Arts, and Improv — Arts & Creative Summer Camp in Houston, TX

Lights, camera, action! Get ready for a summer camp that will ignite your child's creativity and build confidence as they develop writing, speaking, and acting skills. Campers will learn to think on their feet, collaborate, and express themselves with flair through daily improv games, hilarious storytelling challenges, and writing projects. As we make our stories come to life, we will learn about the magic of mime, practice the art of ventriloquism, and jump headfirst into puppet-making. Your extroverted camper will find an audience, and your quiet child will be gently supported as they develop their voice. All campers will grow their confidence as speakers and writers as they brainstorm ideas for a script, make props that sparkle, or audition for a commercial. Through improv, we will discover how embracing the unexpected can lead to fantastic story twists and character development. Join me for a week of unforgettable fun, storytelling, self-discovery, and, of course, lots and lots of drama. Be sure to bring a lunch and a drink.
